Jeff Cash Appointed to Board of Visitors

Cash Klemchuk Powers Taylor, LLP (CKPT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Cash, founder and partner, to the Board of Visitors of Pepperdine University's School of Law. Mr. Cash received this honorable appointment from Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean and Professor of Law, Kenneth W. Starr. Mr. Cash received a J.D. from the University in 1997 and previously earned a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University.
The Board of Visitors plays a very key role in the successful operation and advancement of the School of Law. The Board of Visitors is comprised of alumni, distinguished judges, and business persons who are selected by Dean Starr for their distinction within the legal community as well as their commitment and support of the university. Members provide counsel related to fundraising efforts, increasing diversity within the student body and faculty, alumni relations, and enhancing the reputation of Pepperdine University School of Law among the global legal community.
Mr. Cash will join the Board of Visitors beginning in 2009. “My experience while a student at Pepperdine and after has been remarkable. The faculty is extraordinary, and I am honored to be a part of the support system that allows Pepperdine’s legal education to continue its commitment to excellence.”
Jeff Cash focuses his practice, based in Dallas, Texas, on mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. He has extensive experience developing and negotiating a variety of strategic ventures, dispositions, and venture capital transactions. Recently named by D Magazine as one the “Best Lawyers in Dallas,” for the second year in a row, Mr. Cash additionally represents venture capital companies in investments in emerging companies and has represented numerous emerging companies in obtaining private equity.
