Keith’s practice focuses on intellectual-property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets) protection and prosecution and counseling clients on managing their IP risks and assets.  Keith has significant experience in prosecuting patents before the United States Patent and Trademark office in a wide variety of technologies. Keith also has extensive experience counseling clients in evaluating competitors IP portfolios and actively pursuing technologies clear of those portfolios.  Keith’s practice also includes management of foreign counsel prosecuting patents outside of the United States.

Representation of clients in patent prosecution in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Advise clients regarding the management of intellectual property assets, such as patent, trademark and tradesecret portfolios.
Advise clients regarding intellectual property infringement matters, including design around analysis, product modifications, and changes in procedures.
Advise clients on the applicability of third party patents and provide non-infringement opinions and invalidity opinions for applicable claims.
Preparation and prosecution of trademark and copyright registration applications.
Management of foreign patent prosecution by local counsel in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Mexico and Canada.
